This policy covers the Solomon Digital website, installer, and offline interface. Where anything is ambiguous, the more privacy-respecting reading controls.
What we collect
- Purchase: payment is processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details. We receive your email address and purchase metadata.
- License email: we send your license key and download links by email via Resend.
- License validation: the installer sends your email and license key to our license service over TLS to confirm your purchase and authorize downloads. Keys are stored hashed (never in plaintext) in Cloudflare KV, together with your email, purchase date, download-window length, and revocation status. We do not log your license key in plaintext.
- Advertising measurement: our website uses the Meta pixel and Google Analytics to measure visits and purchases from our ads. When you buy, we also send Meta a purchase event with your email, name, phone and address in hashed (scrambled) form so it can match the sale to an ad. We never send card details. You can limit ad tracking in your Meta ad settings or browser.
- Site usage analytics: our website uses Microsoft Clarity to see how visitors use our pages (clicks, scrolling, and session replays) so we can improve them. Clarity uses cookies to recognize repeat visits. Anything you type into form fields is masked and never recorded, and checkout happens on Stripe's site, which Clarity does not record. Microsoft also processes this data under the Microsoft Privacy Statement (https://privacy.microsoft.com/privacystatement).
- Affiliate referrals: if you reach our website through a partner's referral link, PromoteKit sets a cookie that remembers the referral, and we pass its referral ID to Stripe at checkout so we can pay the partner a commission. PromoteKit receives details of that purchase, such as your email and the amount, from Stripe.
- Promotional emails (optional): at checkout you can tick a box to get news and offers from us. If you opt in, including when you start a checkout but don't finish it, we may email you about Solomon products and offers. Every promotional email has an unsubscribe link, and we honor unsubscribes promptly. You can also opt out by emailing support.
On your device
- The installer writes local diagnostic logs (timestamps, file names, download URLs, errors) under your install folder. These never leave your device unless you choose to share them with support.
- The offline interface (the viewer/launcher) operates locally and does not transmit your reading or usage back to us.
What we do not do
We do not sell your personal information. We use it to deliver and support your purchase and, only if you opt in, to send you promotional emails.
Retention
We retain your license record for as long as needed to support your license and meet legal/accounting obligations. Contact us to ask about your data.
